Jay Marquez has built his entire life in Midland, Texas. From an early age, Jay learned the importance of hard work and caring for family. To help his family make ends meet, at 9 years old, Jay began delivering groceries for his neighbors, using his brother’s bike. Throughout his life, whether he was working at Furr’s grocery store, at his automobile detailing business, or as a landman and oil and gas executive, Jay Marquez was hard at work for his family and this community.

Midway in his career, Jay and his wife of 32 years, Marie, founded Teen F.L.O.W., a faith-based non-profit organization that reaches out with the gospel to at-risk youth and helps them develop critical life skills. The organization is now in its second generation of leadership, with former program participants in key leadership roles.

Jay Marquez is a strong conservative Republican who supports President Donald Trump’s vision for America. As our next Midland County Judge, Jay will stand up for our Christian conservative values.
